The Rode SC4 adapter cable allows you to connect a microphone that’s equipped with a 3.5mm TRS output connector to the TRRS headphone jack of a smartphone or tablet.
The SC4 features color-coded, gold-plated connectors and a shielded construction. It is compatible with both iOS and Android devices and can be used with the Rode VideoMic and Stereo VideoMic, as well as mics from other manufacturers.
The cable is terminated with a 3.5mm TRS female connector at one end and a 3.5mm TRRS right-angled male connector at the other.
